Bats

In this activity students will learn about bats. The exercise has four different sections:
1. Read the facts; each page contains one or two pictures and a short paragraph with basic information and curiosity to read or listen to
2. Complete the Diagram; after studying the names of a bat's body parts, students will label a diagram
3. Write Sentences; pupils will write simple sentences selecting the words provided on each grid
4. Compare bats and birds; students will fill a Venn diagram with characteristics that are only related to bats, only related to birds, and common to bats and birds.

Crossword Puzzle - Summer

In this activity students review some vocabulary words by playing an illustrated crossword puzzle. Clues are given with pictures and sounds (by clicking on each image and listening to the word associated with it). Pupils click the empty cells and select letters from an alphabet pop-up. A solution is also provided.

This is a simple cause-effect activity for Clicker 5. A picture is covered by four puzzle pieces. Student click anywhere on the cell to remove the pieces (one at a time), until the entire picture is visible.

Connect the Dots

This is a "number sequence" activity for Clicker 5.
Students will
1) follow the oral instructions that are given when a page opens
2) connect all the dots following the correct sequence (lowest number to highest) until an object can be seen.


Puzzle Template

This Clicker 5 template can be used to create "sequencing" activities. Each page shows on the right a circle divided into five parts. On the left of the page there are the single sections that together form the circle. When each page opens, an audio message ("select the piece that goes on number...") tells students to find a specific part and click on it. If the answer is correct, the activity moves to the next page, and pupils have to find a different section until the puzzle is completed.

Life Cycle of a Hummingbird

This activity (for Clicker 5) is about hummingbirds and their life cycle. There are three different sections:

A Quarter For A Song

This is a math activity for Clicker 5. Each page shows a jukebox and three different groups of coins. Students will be able to play a song if they find the "25 cents" group. Grids are linked randomly.

Let's Play Bowling

The object of a bowling game is to knock down ten (10) pins in one or two tries. If all the pins are knocked down with the first roll, it is a "strike." If they are not, a second roll at the pins still standing is attempted. If all the pins are knocked down with two balls, it is a "spare."
In this activity students will have fun rolling the ball, knocking down pins and keeping score after every frame.
The score card is set for two players.
